Is it about Kate or someone else that may have been in his life before her? He's only ever said that "it's a song about love". I've always preferred the album version cos there's much more honesty and sincerity in its lyrics, especially near the end.

I remember hearing the opening lyrics and thinking "Oh, maybe Verve AREN'T shit after all."
