Guess mine is not the first heart broken
My eyes are not the first to cry
I'm not the first to know there's
Just no getting over you
You know I'm just a fool who's willing
To sit around and wait for you
But baby can't you see there's nothing left for me to do
I'm hopelessly devoted to you
But now there's no way to hide
Since you pushed my heart aside
I'm outta my head hopelessly devoted to you
Hopelessly devoted to you
Hopelessly devoted to you
My head is saying fool forget him
My heart is saying don't let go
Hold on to the end, that's what I intend to do
I'm hopelessly devoted to you
But now there's no way to hide
Since you pushed my heart aside
I'm outta my head hopelessly devoted to you
Hopelessly devoted to you
Hopelessly devoted to you
Olivia Newton-John - Heart Attack (03:06)
Music video by Olivia Newton-John performing Heart Attack (C) 1982 Geffen Records
This song became the highest leaper song among 8o's. According to Kasey Kasem, between 1980 to 1981, debuting from no. 39, it jumped to no. 13 the following week on billboard as well as in top 40's. But surprisingly this song reached only no. 3 spot. But it became one of a disco hit that year. Maybe be its because Kim Karnes's song was being more noticed for her Bette Davis Eyes that spent 9 weeks at no. 1 that year.

@CharlesNigro I agree. "Gloria" was definitely a superior song on all levels. I do not even watch the Grammy's anymore. It is a joke and music is so awful this decade.
