Elvis was a great blues singer and lover. In so many songs you hear his blues, even if it is not blues. Some impersonators think they can sing like Elvis, but they do not understand and love blues. That is the most important thing Elvis had. BLUES in all of his song, even without typical blues riffs. Elvis=Blues.

BTW - Elvis did not sound like a blues singer even when he sang the blues. He sounded like ELVIS singing the blues. Furthermore, Elvis' SB was a "rock" song and had a rock feel.
